Effective 12 May 2026

Privacy Notice.

Plain language about how Freezil handles personal data. Aligned with Qatar's Personal Data Privacy Protection Law (Law No. 13 of 2016 — “PDPPL”). If anything below is unclear, email info@freezil.com and a human will respond.

1. Who we are

Freezil is a creative agency based at Level 22, Tornado Tower, Westbay, Doha, Qatar (P.O. Box 27774). Phone: +974 4429 4825. Email: info@freezil.com. We are the “Data Controller” under the PDPPL for any personal data submitted through this site.

2. What data we collect

We only collect what we need to respond to you and run the website.

  • From the project-brief form: your name, email, optional phone and company, the service you’re interested in, optional budget and deadline, and the brief you write.
  • From WhatsApp messages and emails you send us: whatever you choose to share — phone number, name, and the content of your message.
  • Automatically via analytics: the pages you visit on freezil.com, the device and browser you’re using, your approximate location (country/city), and how you arrived (search, ads, direct, referral). We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager. Where Google Ads is the source, a click identifier (“GCLID”) lets us attribute the visit to a specific campaign.

We do not collect government-issued ID numbers, credit-card data, biometric data, or any “special category” data described in the PDPPL.

3. Why we collect it (purpose)

  • To respond to your project brief or message.
  • To send you a written treatment, schedule, and price if relevant.
  • To follow up once on the brief if we don’t hear back — never more than once unless you reply.
  • To understand how the website is performing (anonymized analytics).
  • To measure which marketing channels send qualified visitors (Google Ads attribution).

We do not sell your data, rent your data, share it with brokers, or use it for any purpose unrelated to the above.

4. Legal basis

Under PDPPL, processing requires lawful basis. For the project-brief form, that basis is your explicit, affirmative consent (the unticked checkbox you confirmed). For analytics and ad attribution, that basis is your continued use of the website after seeing the cookie banner — you can withdraw at any time using the controls in the banner. For responding to your message, the basis is taking steps you requested before entering a service relationship.

5. Who we share data with

A short list of trusted processors who help us run the business. Each is contractually bound to the same standard of care we apply ourselves.

  • Web3Forms — receives form submissions and forwards them to our team inbox. Privacy policy.
  • Google — Analytics 4, Tag Manager, Ads (when active), and Search Console. Data is processed in the EU and US under Google’s standard data-processing terms. Privacy policy.
  • Sevalla — our website hosting platform. They process server logs.
  • Cloudflare — fronts the website for performance and security; sees IP addresses of visitors.

We do not transfer your data to any party outside this list without telling you first.

6. How long we keep it

  • Project briefs that didn’t become projects: 24 months, then deleted.
  • Active client records: retained for the duration of the engagement plus 7 years (for tax and contractual reasons).
  • Analytics data: retained for 14 months by default, then aggregated and anonymized.
  • Email correspondence: retained for as long as the conversation is active, then archived for 7 years.

7. Your rights under PDPPL

You have the right to:

  • Know what data we hold about you.
  • Access a copy of it.
  • Correct anything that’s wrong.
  • Delete it (subject to legal retention obligations like tax records).
  • Withdraw consent at any time — the easiest way is to reply “UNSUBSCRIBE” to any email from us, or to write to info@freezil.com.
  • Object to direct marketing — same as above, takes effect immediately on receipt.
  • File a complaint with Qatar’s Compliance and Data Protection Department at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology if you believe we’ve mishandled your data.

We respond to verified requests within 30 days, free of charge.

8. Cookies and tracking

When you arrive, you’ll see a banner asking your consent for analytics and ad-attribution cookies. If you decline, no analytics or ad cookies are set — the site still works. You can change your choice any time using the banner’s “Cookie preferences” link, which is also available in the footer.

9. Security

Data in transit is encrypted (HTTPS). Form submissions are encrypted end-to-end between your browser and Web3Forms. Inbound emails are stored on company servers protected by industry-standard security. No system is perfectly secure — we maintain a written incident-response plan and will notify affected users within 72 hours of confirming a breach involving their data, per PDPPL.

10. Changes to this notice

When we materially change how we handle data, we’ll update this page and the “Effective” date at the top. If the change affects how we use data you’ve already given us, we’ll notify you by email before it takes effect.

11. Contact for privacy concerns

For any request, complaint, or question about your data, contact info@freezil.com with the subject line “Privacy request”. We log every privacy request and respond within 30 days.
