Animation studio · Dubai & UAE · produced in Doha
Animation studio for Dubai brands. Gulf-made, one hour away.
Freezil is an animation and motion graphics studio in Doha that produces 2D, 3D, motion graphics and explainer videos for brands across the Gulf, in Arabic and English, in-house. Hamad International Airport, Ooredoo, Doha Metro and Msheireb have briefed this studio. Dubai and UAE teams get the same pipeline, the same time zone give or take an hour, and a bilingual team that does not need the Arabic explained to it.
Why a Doha studio for Dubai work
The Gulf calendar, the Gulf audience, without the offshore lottery.
Most animation quoted to Dubai brands is produced far outside the region and translated late. Freezil sits in the same market: same holidays, same campaign seasons, same taste in what looks premium and what looks cheap.
One hour apart
Doha runs an hour behind Dubai. Reviews, calls and revisions happen inside your working day, not overnight.
Bilingual from the storyboard
Arabic and English are planned together: right-to-left composition, calligraphy-aware kinetic type, and voiceover cast in both languages, all in-house.
Briefed by institutions
An airport, a telecom, a metro, a ministry and a smart-city developer have signed off on this pipeline. Committee reviews and brand guidelines are familiar ground.
One team, one timeline
Script, storyboard, illustration, animation, sound design and mix are done by the same people. No hand-offs to vendors, no assets lost in between.
What we make
Six formats. One pipeline.
Brand films
60 to 90-second films that carry launches, round tables and pitches. Tone-matched to your brand voice.
Explainer videos
A complex product, service or policy made into one clear watch. Built for landing pages, onboarding and events.
Motion graphics
Data, statistics and process walk-throughs made kinetic. Broadcast-ready and social-ready.
2D animation
Character-driven stories, brand worlds and illustration-led narratives, frame by frame.
3D animation
Hybrid 2D/3D systems, product reveals and architectural fly-throughs, as in our Msheireb smart-city work.
Branded characters
Original cast members that carry a brand across campaigns, like the four Ooredoo characters.

How we work
Six phases. Three locked gates.
One round of changes is included at each gate: script and storyboard, animatic, final cut. The price agreed on day one is the price on delivery.
Brief and discovery
One direct conversation. We ask what the film has to do, not what it should look like.
Script and storyboard
Words first, then the frame plan. Signed off before pixels move.
Voice, illustration, rigging
Casting the voiceover, drawing the world, rigging the characters, in parallel.
Animation
Frame by frame or scene by scene, with weekly reviews in a shared workspace.
Sound design and mix
Sound effects, music, mix and master, in-house, on the same timeline.
Delivery and measurement
Master file, social cuts, source files, and a wrap-up on how it performed.
What it costs
Published bands, per finished 30 seconds.
The same bands apply to UAE work; quotes can be issued in AED. Length, character complexity, custom illustration, voiceover and music move the number within a band. Our pricing guide breaks down what drives each line.
FAQ
Animation for Dubai, answered.
How does a Doha studio work with a client in Dubai?
The same way it works with a client in Doha: one direct conversation to brief, a shared workspace for weekly reviews, and three locked sign-off gates at script and storyboard, animatic, and final cut. Doha and Dubai are one hour apart, so reviews happen in your working day. In-person sessions in Dubai can be arranged when a brief calls for them.
How long does a 30-second animation take?
4 to 6 weeks for motion graphics, 6 to 9 weeks for 2D character animation, 8 to 14 weeks for 3D. Faster is possible for a fee, quoted only once the script is known.
What does a 30-second animation cost?
Published Freezil bands per finished 30 seconds: motion graphics QAR 12,000 to 35,000, 2D character animation QAR 25,000 to 80,000, 3D from QAR 80,000. Bilingual Arabic and English delivery adds roughly 40 percent. UAE clients can be quoted in AED.
Can you animate in Arabic and English for the UAE?
Yes. Native Arabic direction, calligraphy-aware kinetic typography and right-to-left composition are built in from the storyboard, not added at the end. Voiceover is cast and recorded in both languages in-house.
Do you deliver formats for Dubai campaigns and events?
A master file plus social cuts in 16:9, 1:1 and 9:16, versioned for LED walls, broadcast, web and in-app, with Arabic and English audio tracks. Source files on request.
Which should we choose, 2D or 3D?
2D wins for explainers, awareness and social, anything that has to ship fast and read clearly. 3D when the product or the building is the hero, as in our Msheireb smart-city explainer.
