Work / Back to school, safely
Back to school, safely.
A bilingual animation guiding Qatar's schools through a safe COVID-19 return — arrival, distancing, hygiene and the new classroom routine, in Arabic and English.
When Qatar prepared to reopen its schools after COVID-19, the Ministry of Education & Higher Education needed every pupil, parent and teacher to know the new rules before the first bell. We made a bilingual animation that walks through the safe-return protocol step by step — arrival and drop-off, physical distancing, hand hygiene and masks, and the new classroom routine — in Arabic and English.
Warm, character-led and calm, it turns a list of health measures into a story a child can follow.
· The challenge
Reassure a nation of parents.
A safe reopening only works when the whole community follows the same steps. The Ministry needed one friendly explainer that could run on TV, social and in schools — clear enough for a young pupil, credible enough for a national ministry.
It had to carry equally in Arabic and English, and deliver the health guidance without feeling clinical or frightening.

· How we made it
Every rule, one clear step.
01 — Script the protocol
We turned the official safe-return guidance into a simple sequence — arrival and drop-off, distancing, hand hygiene and masks, then the new classroom routine.
02 — A pupil to follow
A Qatari schoolboy carries the story — arriving by bus, greeting without contact, washing up and taking his seat — so viewers learn the rules through a child's day.
03 — Bilingual by design
Arabic and English versions built as equals, tuned for broadcast, social and in-school playback.
