Pages worth
printing.

Three years of research reports for WISE. Bilingual editorial systems for academia, government, and institutions. Adobe InDesign rigor, mirror-perfect Arabic and English layouts, print-and-digital delivery — the way publishing used to be done, for the screens people read on now.

What we publish

Research-grade.
Retail-ready.

We treat the page as an interface — hierarchy, measure, rhythm — and the text as content worth protecting. Our typesetters read what they lay out, our proofreaders hold the line, and our translators don't strip nuance.

01

Research reports

Publication-grade bilingual reports. Print and digital. Charts, infographics, citations — all the rigor of a journal with the polish of an annual.

02

Books & catalogues

Monographs, catalogues, yearbooks. Front-to-back editorial design with a durable grid and a spine that reads as intentional as the cover.

03

Typesetting

InDesign composition in AR + EN. Paragraph styles, justified columns, kerning, widows/orphans — the detail work your reader feels but doesn't see.

04

Proofreading

Bilingual manuscript proofreading on every DIFI report — every citation, figure caption, statistic, and cross-reference checked before press. Arabic + English, in-house native readers both sides.

05

Editing

Copy-edit, line-edit, and structural edit in Arabic or English. Style-sheet driven, citation-aware, bilingual-consistent.

06

Translation

Arabic ↔ English translation for research, legal, marketing, and editorial. Not literal. Not stripped. Native reviewers both sides.

07

Print production

Print-ready artwork, paper spec, press checks, bindery options. End-to-end delivery or hand-off files — your call.

Frequently asked

Publishing, answered.

The four questions every research lead opens with — answered the way we work.

Do you handle Arabic typesetting properly?

In-house InDesign typesetters in AR + EN. Paragraph styles, kerning, justified columns, widows and orphans, kashida control — the detail work most agencies outsource. Our typesetters also read what they lay out, so structural problems get caught at composition, not at proof.

Is proofreading included by default?

On every DIFI report, yes — full bilingual manuscript proofreading is part of scope, not an add-on. Every citation, figure caption, statistic, and cross-reference is checked before press. Native readers both sides. For other clients, we scope it explicitly so you know what you're paying for.

Can you handle print production end-to-end?

Yes — paper spec, press checks, bindery options (Smythe-sewn, perfect-bound, saddle-stitched), and print-ready artwork delivered to your printer or ours. We've delivered launch-ready volumes for DIFI's International Year of the Family gathering and dozens of WISE / WISH conferences.

How long does a research report take?

8–12 weeks for a 60–100 page bilingual report (cover directions, design system, typeset, proof, print-ready). Faster turnarounds possible with parallel AR/EN tracks if your manuscript is locked. We publish a written week-by-week schedule inside the proposal.

Have you worked on Qatar Foundation or government reports?

Extensively. Recent: DIFI's 2024 Megatrends Series (4 reports, launched at the International Year of the Family Anniversary Gathering), DIFI Childhood Wellbeing in Qatar, DIFI Family Cohesion in Qatar (DIFI × SESRI × Qatar University), DIFI Psychological Report (2025), WISE 2019–2023 research reports, Ministry of Labour & Social Affairs national child-protection mapping, CRA × CMU-Q IPv6 Security Guidelines. Plus DPS Islamic Pre-marriage Courses curriculum, and CRA Cloud Computing handbook for SMEs.

What's the difference between translation and bilingual editing?

Translation = same meaning, second language. Bilingual editing = both manuscripts as living documents, checked against each other for accuracy, terminology, and structure. For research reports we always recommend the second — citations, figures, methodology terms, and policy language all need to match precisely between AR and EN.

Can you turn a research study into something people actually read?

That's the whole job. Information architecture first, then design — pull-out stats, sectional dividers, sidebars for terminology, infographics that earn their space, narrative tone in introductions, executive summary that stands alone. How we turn a study into a readable report →

What's working in annual report design in 2026?

Editorial design is back — narrative voice over corporate stiffness. Editorial typography, custom photo direction over stock, data visualisation that tells one clear story per chart, and digital companion microsites alongside print. Full trends report →
