Skytrax —
a case for votes.
A five-film campaign series for Hamad International Airport's annual Skytrax World Airport Awards run — confident, specific reminders of why HIA earns the title year after year, built for LED walls, social feeds, and voter-email nudges.
Five films.
One campaign.
The Skytrax campaign ran as a series of short films — each tied to a specific service moment HIA wanted voters to remember. The first three are the hero cuts; the last two round out the story.
The brief
The Skytrax Awards are voted by travellers. The campaign had to move from "nice airport" recall to specific-moment recall — the shower after a redeye, the quiet zone at Gate 12, the lounge with the mezze bar.
We wrote a montage of those specific moments, animated flat-line with a warm palette, and delivered cuts for airport LEDs, social, and the voter-email nudge.
How we worked
01 — Memory, not facts
Led with moments a traveller would remember, not statistics HIA could publish.
02 — Flat-line, warm-grade
Kept the film stylised so real-location photography didn't contradict the clean typography of the awards.
03 — Sized for the LED wall
Mastered at 4K for the Departures Hall LED + trimmed for 9:16 and 1:1 feed edits.
04 — Nudge-ready
Produced 6-second teasers sized for email signatures and voter reminders.
Five service moments, one film.
