Research Report,
2021.
The 2021 WISE Research Report — a refinement of the 2019 editorial system, with cleaner grids, a tighter typographic hierarchy, and a revised chart library that scales with denser data.

The brief
The 2021 programme had more data than 2019. The challenge was containing it without losing the journal-meets-magazine balance readers expected from WISE.
We refined rather than rebuilt — tighter grid, clearer chart rules, more breathing room on the spreads. Published in Arabic and English as visual peers.
How we worked
01 — Iterate, not restart
The 2019 system was working — we refined what needed refining.
02 — Chart library v2
Expanded the chart styles for multi-axis data.
03 — Bilingual grid retained
Same baseline-locked twelve-column grid. AR and EN publish as peers.
