Work / Lean startup, explained
Lean startup, explained.
An animated explainer for Qatar Business Incubation Center's lean-startup programme — designed to land with first-time founders, university students, and the public-sector backers signing their cheques.

The brief
QBIC runs Qatar's flagship lean-startup programme. The explainer film had to serve three audiences at once: students who don't yet know what "lean" means, founders weighing whether to apply, and ministry-side backers measuring the programme's outcomes.
We distilled the methodology into a single visual narrative — Problem, Customer, Solution, Scale — so every audience found their frame of reference without the film feeling like a lecture.

How we worked
01 — Audience mapping
Interviewed QBIC alumni, applicants, and mentors before we wrote a line.
02 — Narrative, not steps
Turned the lean-startup canvas into a founder's story.
03 — Data moments
Sneaked in outcome stats (ventures funded, jobs created) without breaking the character-led tone.
04 — Classroom-ready
Delivered a classroom-cut with a facilitator pause at the 30-second mark.
