App development · Toronto and the GTA · Freezil Canada
App development for Toronto teams. Fixed price, real builds every two weeks.
Freezil designs and builds iOS and Android apps: one React Native codebase when that is the right call, native Swift and Kotlin when a project earns it. Discovery, design, build, store submission and the first thirty days of tuning are done by one team. Toronto companies contract with Freezil Canada, our Ontario-registered company, get a fixed CAD price after discovery, and own the source code, repository and store listings outright.
What we build
Six ways we build. One team that answers for it.
iOS and Android apps
Cross-platform from one codebase, which keeps both stores in sync and roughly halves maintenance; native when performance or hardware requires it.
Product discovery
Who the app is for, what job it does, and what the first release must contain. Ends in a scope, a prototype and a price.
UX and UI design
Screens designed against real devices and real content, on a design system your app and website share.
Backend and APIs
Authentication, roles, payments, push notifications and offline behaviour, documented for whoever maintains it next.
Store submission
App Store and Google Play listings, privacy declarations and the review process, handled end to end.
Care and releases
Optional plans for OS updates, monitoring and release management after launch.
Why Freezil
An overnight product team with a Canadian contract.
Builds while you sleep
The team is seven hours ahead of Toronto: decisions you make in the afternoon are in the next morning's build.
Fixed price after discovery
A written scope and a fixed CAD price before development, not an open-ended hourly bill.
You own everything
Source code, repository and store listings under your own accounts from day one.
Arabic and RTL built in
If your app serves Arabic-speaking users in Canada or the Middle East, right-to-left support is designed in from screen one.
Proof
Products and platforms we shipped.
ISMAHA, shipped.
A bilingual programme platform for a university research initiative.
TailixOne home for pet life.
A consumer product: app and web, designed and built end to end.
PassToFintech, with a wink.
Launch site and brand for a fintech product.
QPlasticsCorporate site and tender portal.
An industrial manufacturer's bilingual site with a supplier portal.
How we work
Six phases. One team.
Discovery and scoping
The job the product does, who it is for, and the shortest first release worth shipping. Ends in a written scope and a fixed price.
Flows and prototype
Every screen and state mapped, then a clickable prototype you can test with real users before the expensive part starts.
Design
High-fidelity screens in Figma on a shared design system, so your app and website stay one brand.
Build
Two-week cycles with a working build on your own device at the end of each one.
QA and launch
Real-device testing, accessibility and performance passes, App Store and Google Play submission handled end to end.
Thirty days of tuning
Crash monitoring, analytics review and fast fixes after release, then an optional care plan.
FAQ
App development in Toronto, answered.
How much does app development cost in Toronto?
Scope decides it: a focused single-purpose app, a customer app with accounts and payments, and a platform with a full backend are very different builds. We run a short discovery and then give a fixed CAD price before development starts.
How long does it take to build an app?
Typically 12 to 20 weeks from discovery to store approval, less for a focused first release.
Native or cross-platform?
Most business apps should be cross-platform with React Native. We recommend native Swift or Kotlin when the app needs heavy graphics, deep hardware access or platform-specific features, and we explain which case you are in.
Are you a Toronto company?
Freezil Canada is registered in Ontario and serves Toronto remotely; there is no walk-in office. The product team works from Doha, seven hours ahead, with live calls booked in Toronto's morning.
Who owns the code?
You do: full source, full commercial rights, your own repository and store listings under your own developer accounts.
