Animation studio · Toronto and the GTA · Freezil Canada
An animation studio for Toronto brands. Your notes tonight, new frames by morning.
Freezil makes 2D, 3D, motion graphics and animated explainer films for brands and institutions, with the script, storyboard, illustration, animation, sound design and mix done by one in-house team. Hamad International Airport, Ooredoo, Doha Metro and Msheireb have briefed this studio. Toronto teams contract with Freezil Canada, our Ontario-registered company, get quotes in CAD, and get a production day that runs while theirs is over.
What we make
Six formats. One pipeline.
Brand films
60 to 90-second films for launches, investor decks, conferences and campaigns.
Motion graphics
Data, product UI and process walk-throughs made kinetic, for paid social, web and events.
2D character animation
Character-driven stories and brand worlds, drawn and animated frame by frame.
3D animation
Product reveals, architectural fly-throughs and hybrid 2D/3D systems, as in our Msheireb smart-city work.
Branded characters
An original cast that carries a brand across campaigns, like the four Ooredoo characters.

Casting the voiceover, drawing the world, rigging the characters, in parallel.
Animation
Scene by scene, with weekly reviews in a shared workspace.
Sound design and mix
Sound effects, music, mix and master, in-house, on the same timeline.

FAQ
Animation for Toronto, answered.
How much does a 30-second animation cost?
About CAD 4,500 to 13,000 for motion graphics, CAD 9,500 to 30,000 for 2D character animation, and from about CAD 30,000 for 3D. These are our published bands converted to CAD; the quote you sign is a fixed CAD price.
How long does an animated video take?
4 to 6 weeks for motion graphics, 6 to 9 weeks for 2D character animation, 8 to 14 weeks for 3D. Faster is possible for a fee, quoted once the script is known.
Are you based in Toronto?
Freezil Canada is registered in Ontario and serves Toronto remotely; there is no walk-in office. The production team works from Doha, seven hours ahead, which is why revisions often turn around overnight.
Can we have live reviews?
Yes. Toronto's 9 to 10 a.m. overlaps the studio's afternoon, so live review calls are booked in that window. Everything else runs in a shared review workspace.
Do you write the script?
Yes. Script and storyboard are the first gate, signed off before anything is animated. If you already have a script, we tighten it for time and picture.
Which should we choose, 2D or 3D?
2D for explainers, awareness and social: anything that has to ship fast and read clearly. 3D when the product or the building is the hero.
