App development · Riyadh, Jeddah and all of KSA · built in Doha
App development for Saudi companies. Arabic from the first screen.
Freezil designs and builds iOS and Android apps for teams across the Gulf: one React Native codebase when that is the right call, native Swift and Kotlin when a project earns it. Riyadh and Doha share a clock and a working week, so you review real builds on your own phone every two weeks, in your day. Arabic and English are architected in from the start, and you own the source code, the repository and the store listings.
What we build
Apps for Saudi customers, staff and citizens.
Customer apps
Accounts, payments, bookings and loyalty, in Arabic and English, built for Saudi app-store search.
Field and staff apps
Offline-first tools for teams on site: inspections, deliveries, sales visits.
Government-style service apps
Forms, status tracking and notifications that a broad public audience can use without help.
Product discovery
Before code: who the app is for, what the first release must contain, and a fixed price.
Backend and APIs
Authentication, roles, push notifications and the database underneath, documented for whoever maintains it next.
Store submission and care
App Store and Google Play listings in Arabic and English, the review process, and optional care plans.
Why a Gulf studio
App development in Saudi Arabia, without the offshore lottery.
The common story: a low offshore quote, a build that demos well, an Arabic version that is a mirrored screenshot, and nobody answering when an iOS update breaks the login. Freezil works on Riyadh's clock and week, writes Arabic as a first-class language, and hands you full ownership on day one.
If you also need a website, our web team builds on the same design system, so the app and the site stay one brand.
Same time zone
Riyadh, Jeddah and Doha are all on UTC+3, Sunday to Thursday.
Real Arabic, not mirrored
Right-to-left layout, Arabic typography, Hijri and Gregorian dates and Arabic numerals where your users expect them.
Fixed price after discovery
A scope and a price before development starts, not an open-ended hourly bill.
You own everything
Source code, repository and store listings under your own developer accounts.
Proof
Products and platforms we shipped.
ISMAHA, shipped.
A bilingual programme platform for a university research initiative.
TailixOne home for pet life.
A consumer product: app and web, designed and built end to end.
PassToFintech, with a wink.
Launch site and brand for a fintech product.
QPlasticsCorporate site and tender portal.
An industrial manufacturer's bilingual site with a supplier portal.
How we work
Six phases. One team.
Discovery and scoping
The job the product does, who it is for, and the shortest first release worth shipping. Ends in a written scope and a fixed price.
Flows and prototype
Every screen and state mapped, then a clickable prototype you can test with real users before the expensive part starts.
Design
High-fidelity screens in Figma on a shared design system, so your app and website stay one brand.
Build
Two-week cycles with a working build on your own device at the end of each one.
QA and launch
Real-device testing, accessibility and performance passes, App Store and Google Play submission handled end to end.
Thirty days of tuning
Crash monitoring, analytics review and fast fixes after release, then an optional care plan.
FAQ
App development for KSA, answered.
How much does app development cost in Saudi Arabia?
Scope decides it. A focused single-purpose app, a customer app with accounts and payments, and a platform with a full backend are very different builds. We scope in discovery and give a fixed price, quoted in SAR on request, before development starts.
How long does it take to build an app?
Typically 12 to 20 weeks from discovery to store approval, less for a focused first release. Store review adds days, not weeks, when the submission is prepared properly.
Native or cross-platform?
Most business apps should be cross-platform: one React Native codebase keeps iOS and Android in step and roughly halves maintenance. We recommend native Swift or Kotlin when a project needs heavy graphics, deep hardware access or platform-specific features.
Can a Doha studio work with a Riyadh team?
Yes. We share the same time zone and working week. Reviews run on real builds every two weeks, over video calls and a shared workspace, and in-person workshops can be arranged for discovery.
Do you build Arabic and RTL apps?
Yes, by default. Right-to-left layout is designed from the first screen, Arabic type is set by people who read it, and dates, numerals and currency follow the locale.
Who owns the app and the source code?
You do: full source, full commercial rights, your own repository, and store listings published under your own developer accounts.
