Explainer videos that make one complicated thing clear.
An explainer video has one job: take a product, service or process that people do not yet understand and make it obvious in about a minute. Freezil has made explainers for Doha Metro's travel card, Qatar Development Bank's services and a ministry's back-to-school plan, written, illustrated, animated and voiced in-house. Canadian teams contract with Freezil Canada, our Ontario-registered company, and get a fixed CAD price before production starts.
Styles
Four explainer styles, matched to the job.
2D animated explainer
Characters in a simple world, walking through the problem and the fix. The default for consumer products and public services.
Motion graphics explainer
Type, icons, data and product UI in motion. Best for SaaS, fintech and B2B, where the interface is the story.
Whiteboard animation
A hand draws the idea as the voiceover explains it. Good for training, onboarding and processes with many steps.
3D product explainer
When the product is physical, or the building does not exist yet: show how it works from the inside.
What makes it work
The script decides most of the result.
Most explainers fail before animation starts: too many messages, too much jargon, no clear next step. We write first, with you, and nothing moves until the script and storyboard are signed off.
One message
Sixty to ninety seconds carries one idea and one call to action. Everything else goes on the landing page.
Words before pictures
Script, then storyboard, then animatic: three locked gates, one round of changes at each.
Voice that fits
Professional English voiceover by default; Arabic or French versions scoped in the quote.
Cut for every channel
A master plus 16:9, 1:1 and 9:16 cuts for the website, YouTube, LinkedIn and paid social.
Proof
Explainers institutions trusted us with.
Ride smarter, in ninety seconds.
A bilingual explainer for the travel card, Arabic and English.
Qatar Development BankConnect with QDB.
An explainer that walks business owners through the bank's services.
MsheirebA smart city, explained.
3D explainer for a smart-city developer.
Ministry of EducationBack to school, safely.
Animated public-information film for a national audience.
OoredooFour characters. One brand universe.
An original animated cast built to carry the brand across campaigns.
Hamad International AirportA greeting worthy of a nation.
Eid Al-Fitr brand film, produced on a seventy-two-hour clock.
How we work
Six phases. A fixed price.
Brief and discovery
One direct conversation. We ask what the film has to do, not what it should look like.
Script and storyboard
Words first, then the frame plan. Signed off before pixels move.
Voice, illustration, rigging
Casting the voiceover, drawing the world, rigging the characters, in parallel.
Animation
Scene by scene, with weekly reviews in a shared workspace.
Sound design and mix
Sound effects, music, mix and master, in-house, on the same timeline.
Delivery
Master file, social cuts in 16:9, 1:1 and 9:16, and source files on request.
What it costs
Published bands, per finished 30 seconds.
Motion graphics or whiteboard
About CAD 4,500 to 13,000.
2D character explainer
About CAD 9,500 to 30,000.
3D product explainer
From about CAD 30,000.
A typical 60–90 second explainer
Usually less than two or three times the 30-second band: the script, characters and world are built once.
CAD figures are our published QAR bands converted at about 0.38 and rounded; the quote you sign is in CAD. Length, character complexity, custom illustration, voiceover and music move the number within a band.

60 to 90 seconds for a homepage or product explainer; 15 to 30-second cut-downs for ads. Longer only for training, where viewers have chosen to watch.

Do you write the script?
Yes. The script is the first deliverable and the most important one. If you have a draft, we edit it for time and clarity.
What is whiteboard animation good for?
Processes with several steps, internal training and onboarding: the drawing builds the idea in the order the narrator explains it, which helps people follow and remember.
Do you work with clients across Canada?
Yes. Freezil Canada is registered in Ontario and works with teams anywhere in Canada, through scheduled calls and a shared review workspace.
